MahiSys builds and deploys AI systems for enterprise clients. These are the principles that govern how we do it — and the commitments we hold ourselves to.
When we build AI systems for clients, we document how they work, what data they use, and what decisions they influence. We do not deploy black-box systems where explainability is required. Clients receive model cards and decision audit trails for all production AI systems.
AI systems we build augment human decision-making — they do not replace accountability. For decisions with significant business, financial, or personal impact, a human review step is designed into the workflow by default. Clients may reduce oversight only with documented acceptance of the associated risk.
We train and operate AI models on the minimum data necessary to achieve the stated objective. We do not retain client data beyond the scope of the engagement. PII used in model training is anonymised or pseudonymised wherever technically feasible.
Before deployment, all AI models that affect people — recruitment, credit, customer service prioritisation — are evaluated for demographic bias and fairness. Evaluation results are shared with clients. Ongoing monitoring for model drift and bias shift is included in our Managed AI service.
All AI pipelines, APIs, and data stores are built to our security baseline: encrypted at rest and in transit, access-controlled by role, and logged for audit. AI models are assessed for adversarial vulnerabilities including prompt injection and data poisoning before production release.
MahiSys does not build AI systems intended to deceive, surveil, discriminate, or cause harm. We decline engagements that conflict with these principles regardless of commercial value. If we discover a system we have built is being misused, we will seek to remediate or terminate the engagement.
We monitor applicable AI regulations and standards, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the EU AI Act for EU-facing deployments, and sector-specific guidance. Our AI Governance service helps clients achieve and maintain compliance with these frameworks.
